At UK£2.99/US$2.99, the iOS version is very much in the casual purchase price range. The OSX AU plugin is a little more pricy – UK£30.99/US$30.99 – but, in desktop terms, still at the cheaper end f the plugin spectrum. Check out the two iOS demo videos below to get an idea of what the app’s about.

FAC Chorus is a versatile chorus effect emulation designed to simulate the characteristics of the classic chorus modules with the flexibility of customising the parameters of the main components involved in. Sep 18, 2017  Developer Fred Anton Corvest has released FAC Chorus for macOS, an AU version of the previously released iOS chorus effect. Here’s a demo of the mac version in action: FAC Chorus is designed to simulate the characteristics of classic chorus modules, with the flexibility of customizing the parameters of components in the signal path. FAC Chorus is suitable for any situation requiring chorus effects and can go from subtle to drastic changes, the factory presets provide an overview of the sonic panel you can obtain. The effect is built upon two individual delay line paths controlled by common parameters. The behaviour of each delay signal path is defined by the chorus type parameter. Thick type means warm characters and emulates the behaviour of the BBD. Clean type, as the name says, provides a cleaner sound with a larger modulation. Following the diagram below, the sound flows from the left to right or from the input to the output.

But, actually, there are some very useable ‘special effects’ at this end of the spectrum also. But it was those ‘in-between’ sounds that impressed me most. Farming bot for clash of kings.
